empire home warranty Empire Home Warranty FAIL! SCAM! STAY AWAY! WILMONGTON, Delaware

I purchased a 110-yr old home in rural TN in 2010, and bought the home warranty for $580. My water heater started to leakin August,so I fileda claim. Empire selected a contractor who just showed up with a new water heater and started installing it. During that installation, the rude and disrespectful customer service agent "diagnosed" the cause of water heater leak over the phone - miraculous by any standards. He denied the claim and I had to write a $780 check to the plumber right then.

I complained to Empire Home Warranty customer service in September 2010 and was immediately assured that I would be given the full contract price refund of $580 to settle my grievance. I was told in writing more than five times by the Regional Supervisor "Brad" that my check was "in the mail." As of February 2011, no check has arrive. Imagine that. This company should be put out of business.

I am suing them in small claims court. DO NOT use Empire Home Warranty!

I had an AC problem, and when I called they are out of business. They did not even have a phone number and I paid this company 396.00 last year. I am going to sue them for sure.parabomb
