On or around February 18th 2011, I ordered a scooter from this company. The scooter was supposed to be BRAND NEW Speedster 150cc Moped. I placed my order and everything went well, my scooter was shipped out from Venus Texas on a monday.
My scooter was shipped by ESTES EXPRESS, my scooter arrived in Indiana on Thursday, here is were my problems start. The shipping company called me and said that they could not deliver it to my house because they did not have a Lift gate, well after half a day on the phone with them they finally got their own private individual to bring my scooter to my house (I paid extra shipping for liftgate to). Upon recieving my scooter, the box that was covering the crate was heavily damaged, the crate frame was bent in three places, the box had been opened at the top, so the scooter was totally open to any damage from the top! When I got my scooter out of the crate I realized it had been damaged quite a bit, I immediately called the shipper, the advised me to contact the seller, so I did all that and Moises from evosales had me send him pictures of everything. I also noticed the manufacture date on the frame and title said 2008! Moises said he would replace EVERYTHING that was damaged, well he send two parts to me in the mail and asked if everything was ok, well the scooter would not even run out of the box and I got a BAD battery. After having to replace a coil, CDI, and spark plug the scooter finally started. I contacted Moises about the bad battery and he said he would send a new one out to me, without the acid because of USPS rules. When I recieved the replacement battery he sent it without cell covers, after recieving it I called him and didnt get an answer for 4 days, I sent him numerous emails and never got any responses! Finally once I did reach him he told me to take the caps off my factory battery and put on the replacement, well I took them off the old battery and tried to put them on the new one, well they didnt fit...I tried to put them back on the factory battery and they wouldnt go back in and seal...So now i'm stuck with a 3 year old scooter and NO battery! Simply because this Moises character doesnt want to send me the damn battery caps for the replacement one he sent, I think he done this on purpose to RIP ME OFF ! Also, the shock absorber on this scooter was no good, I found out that the seals on them deteriorate after sitting for as long as my scooter did (mine was made Jan2008). So I did get Moises to send me another shock, the first one he sent was ENTIRELY to big and wouldnt even fit between the airbox and back tire. Then he sent a second shock and it did work, so I did get a new coil,CDI,shock and battery (with no acid or caps) from him, but I'm still stuck with a few parts that were damaged in shipment and he wont replace. Another thing, my engine has so much blow by that it blows out all the oil in the crankcase through the airbox, this is another thing I reported to Moises and he told me to "go get it fixed if its broke", well this bike did come with a 30 day warranty and I should have never accepted the shipment but how did I know all this was gonna happen. After this experience I WOULD ADVISE THAT NO ONE CONDUCT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! After a few weeks I decided to contact the Better Business Bureau because I knew that I had been taken for an $899 dollar ride! After contacting the BBB now Moises wants to reply to my messages and phone calls. But now he dont want to ship ANY of the damaged parts to me that he promised from the get go. So I'm stuck with a three year old scooter with no battery and broken body parts, I pretty much got RIPPED OFF! I would be glad to get some retributal on this issue or legal assistance, it would be nice to recover some of the money I paid them because they have RIPPED me OFF and I have noticed that I'm not the first one! |
