First Secure Management
First Secure Management Credit Card Rate Reduction Scam. Chandler , Arizona

Last August, I was contacted by 1st Secure Management from Chandler AZ. The unsolicited call was to offer a service which would lower my Credit Card Interest Rate to Below 9.9% All I had to do was have $698.95 billed to that card & to fill out a form with lots of info I didnt care to publish.
If I was able to reduce my Rate below 9.9% within 90 Days, I would receive a refund back on my Card. I was able to reduce my Rate to 1.99% through June 2012. I contacted 1st Secure Management to request the Refund & received the Paperwork in November. I provided proof of Rate Reduction & filled out the Form provided.
January 17, 2011, I received a call from 1st Secure Management stating that I had qualified for the Refund & that it would appear on my next Credit Card Statement. When the Refund did not appear as promised, I called them to inquire.
The only number provided is (888) 838-4511. When I called that number it was answered by Customer Service. They checked & could find no info on my account. The Rep said, We cannot call 1st Secure Management, we can only send an e-mail requesting information. We will have a response in 24 to 48 Hrs. Please call back then.
When I called back 48 Hrs later, I was told that the Billing Department has authorized a Refund & it will show up on your Credit Card Statement in 1 to 2 Billing Cycles. I waited until the next Statement arrived. No Refund, again. I called Customer Service to inquire about the issue date of the Refund Authorization. Same answer, We cannot call 1st Secure Management, we can only send an e-mail requesting information. We will have a response in 24 to 48 Hrs. Please call back then. When I called back 48 Hrs later, I was told that the Billing Department has authorized a Refund & it will show up on your Credit Card Statement in 1 to 2 Billing Cycles. Sounds familiar.
When the 3rd Billing Statement arrived with no Refund, I called again. A repeat of the 2 previous paragraphs occurred. As of 4-18-2011, Still no refund. I have received 3 Credit Card Statements now with no Refund & no way to contact the Billing Department about when the Authorization was issued or when the Refund will actually be paid.
This is a real scam & the Customer Service Number is only a stall. I have filed complaints with the AZ Attny General Office & the CO Attny Gen Office.
