$3000 OVEN STOPS WORKING EVERY TIME I USE THE SELF-CLEAN

I bought this oven in April 2011. I have used the "self-clean" three times and each time the oven stops working. The first time it happened, the service technician told me to only self- clean for 2 hours (instead of the automatic 3 hours). So, the next time I did that - it stopped working again. The second time, a new thermal fuse was installed. With my fingers crossed, I tried again several weeks ago & guess what - the oven stopped working again. My friends are re-modeling their kitchen now & there is no way I could reccomend Kitchenaid. ALSO - AGI Extended Service Plan has now charged my account 5 times (the agreement was 4). What a mess!
