My PC was acting funny, probably got hit by a virus or such. Since i am not computer tech savvy, I searched online for a service that could help me out right away. computerrepairservicesusa geeksmobileusa came up on the first page of Google, and I decided to call them. A lady picked up the phone, I explained the situation and she gave me a quote of $130. They could come to my home the same day so that sounded to me like an excellent deal! Too bad I was in a hurry and thus I skipped a thorough research on this company. When you search online for keywords computerrepairservicesusa scam ripoff and or geeksmobileusa scam or ripoff, you will get tons of results. But again, I didn't have time for that, so I trusted the woman from Geeks. The tech from computerrepairservicesusa came to my house, worked on my system for approx 3-4 hours and presented me a bill close to $400 !! That didn't sound right to me and I complained to him about about this. In his own words "yea I know they charge clients too much, and I am well aware they aren't honest in their estimates, it just happens I work for them and always try to work out a fair solution with the customer". So..it seems the tech was the man in the middle so to say. His job is to spend as much time as possible onsite and to convince the customer to pay the amount. Luckily I dealt with a (sorta) honest tech, although I think he should have told me it would take this much time and money to fix my computer. I decided to call them and got on the phone with a woman named "Val". She was very rude and threatened me to take it to collection in case I would refuse to pay the amount. I ended up paying... Yea, call me crazy, but I just don't want to deal with the night mare of them ruining my credit. Life is too short for this. At any rate, bottom line of the story is..computerrepairservicesusa and geeksmobileusa are scammers; and should be abolished. I truly wonder how these companies are allowed to rank themselves so well on Google Search engines though; there is nothing legitimate about them. From what I understand they have another division named "allitsupported" Please spread the word, I think it's our job as Americans to prevent other people will become victims of their fraudulent activities. Thanks, J
