Palm Beach Tan Rips Off Customers Dothan, Alabama

Signed up for a tanning membership at Palm Beach Tan in Dothan Alabama. I paid initially for the first month and gave the salesperson my credit card to automatically debit the monthly fee. After careful consideration a week later, as I live 1 1/2 hours away from the nearest salon, I sent an email to ask them to cancel my membership and not take out any monthly fees from my credit card. I also stated in my email that I still hadn't received my copy of the contract either by email or regular mail. I never signed any actual paper copy, it was all done electronically. The entire time I was signing up, the woman waiting on me was trying to instruct a new employee how to properly fold towels, wait and speak with customers who had walked in after me, apparently already members, and I was never given any type of instructions or when I would receive a copy of a contract, or any other information. She just took my initial money and told me to go ahead to a certain room to tan. When I was finished tanning, I went back to the front desk to ask how long it would take to get the copy of my contract. The woman would not answer me as she was talking on her cell phone. I told her have a nice day and assumed I would receive my contract. I had no response regarding my cancellation email, so I sent a second email. I was informed by return email that I would have to go to the salon I had originally gone to to cancel my membership and that it was stated in my contract. I returned the email stating, once again, that I had never recieved a contract. I may have done an electronic signature, but never received anything. I was told once again I would have to return to the store. I was also told that the first month, November, would still be taken from my credit card. I sent another email stating that I should not be held liable for the mistake of their employees and was promptly told that it was my word against their employee, that they believed their employee. This is fraud, plain and simple. Please help
