I had Monet Carter prepare a legal document, when I got the document back from her it had 30 to 40 spelling and grammatical errors PER PAGE! When I showed it to a lawyer he laughed and asked me if an elementary school child wrote it and hoped I didn't pay someone for such a unprofessional piece of work.
This woman passes herself off as a professional, and is anything but. The content of the document was not only sub par, but so legally flawed that it would have done more harm than good to me in court. And forget about any client confidentiality, she ran down multiple other clients to me, right there in her office, when they called.
She also claims to have a business license and be with the BBB. She is not with the BBB and her business license was revoked by the county in 2006, maybe that's when she became a law diva. |

| Run, don't walk away from this Lady! This is not s company, one person! She is anything but professional! I can't believe she takes advantage of people the way she does! I would be more than happy to share the horrible experience we had with Monet! I only wish I would have read these comments before she would have ripped us off! |

I used Monet of Paper Trail Paralegal services to prepare an opposition, order to show cause, admonishment, as well as counter claims to a lawsuit that was filed by my ex spouse. Thanks to Monet’s working with me at her office and taking all of the information required to fill out 62 pages of forms I was able to not only get my ex spouse’s lawsuit deemed frivolous by the courts, I was awarded legal fees in the amount of $1, 000.00. The Judge in the case also ruled in my favor on some but not all of the counter motions and admonished my ex spouse about filing more motions.
I not sure why this person “Vegasguy2000” who is from Canada has such a bone to pick with Monet & her company. It seems that he wanted her to change a contract that was not written by him, but by another company. If anyone understands contracts, you cannot just re-write them, you have to amend them or add clauses to them. No one in their right mind would ever agree to amend a contract for a mere $50.00. Also he first states that he just want Paper Trail to review the contract. Later in his rants he states that he wanted Paper Trail to amend the contract. Which one was it VegasGuy2000?
In closing I will say that I will always use Monet at Paper Trail Paralegal services for all of my simple legal forms and documents! |
