Phillip Morris Company Marlboro coupons coupns not honored , Internet

This is sad comming from a company making Billions of dollars. I completed a survey for Marlboro's cigarettes. My gift for completing the survey was a cigarette lighter and coupons. As of yet, I havent received my lighter, and the coupons are unusable. I went to use a dollar off a pack coupon, and the store manager said Phillip Morris was not honoring the coupons. What is up with that. Just like the marlboro miles. Talk about a dead beat company. Thanks alot for NOTHING.

Hi, I get coupons from PM too (the website) it takes along time to get things like "gifts" of lighters & such. because sometimes they run out, but I think you will get it eventually. Also: some stores do not take cig coupons, and some stores always have trouble when they scan the coupons and the clerk has to call the manager to do it. This happens to me al the time at Rite-Aid & CVS, it's always a hassle for some reason. Maybe the guy at your store had the scanning problem and just told you that cause he was too lazy too deal with it? They have 2 buttons on the register for "coupons"...one is "store coupon" and the other is "manufacturers coupon", sometimes if it's a foreign clerk (which it usually is, lol) I have to tell them to use the "Manufacturer" coupon Key. You may want to report this to P-Morris to see if they can help before you trash them here, I say this because your report did not say you contacted the company about this problem. But I agree, It is tedious getting the coupons accepted.
