Sachin Sharma – CCIE Impersonator – Thief – Fraud

On oDesk I was looking for CCIE consultants to help me in developing Cisco Exam Certification educational products. Sachin Sharma applied, asking for $5500.00 a month– because he has 7 years of experience, and he is really good – does not waste the time, and also has years of experience in French Telecom.. (At first I thought “wow”..). Furthermore, he was able to verify his CISCO Certification via Cisco’s online tracking program.
He gave very nice deadlines for preparing the things that I would need, and said he would need CCNP (A step below a Certified CCIE holder) person on hand to assist him – he already has a very good buddy - Puneet Khanna (another scammer he works with).
So now I am getting a request to save on oDesk commission fees (~10%) and pay via the PayPal, so I said OK, and he wanted to switch to Xoom. I thought, I could pay them each $500.00 up front, although they requested 1300.00 each, and see how the things would be going. I was asking more technical questions from Sachin Sharma layer on, and I was surprised that he can barely answer my questions, almost everything contained no responses or had “…” at the end (three dots) which heavily hinted at the fact that he wasn’t absolutely concrete with his response. I asked him to give me the CCIE R&S equipment/devices types and numbers that I would need to order for the business, and I asked him then differences between 1841 and 2811 line of routers and switches – shockingly, he couldn’t answer, mostly I got “…” (think whatever you want to think). Then after 2 weeks I said enough of wasting the time, I need the things now . So he requested 20 minutes, and gave me the copies first from INE.com, a competitor site, next time from ebay. Once I caught him, he said, that don’t expect Indians to be working in the first place, they will just be taking the monies and that’s it. He was so blatant and careless with his copying that he didn’t even bother changing the fonts and colors of the listings that he took from CCIE racks sold from ebay. I was paying for a true CCIE internet expert, and not someone to just do what anyone else can do (which is to google).
Now they supposedly came show me what they have prepared for the Cisco training videos. It turns out – its all stolen from INE. The whole layout and topics were copied word for word- there wasn’t even an attempt to rearrange the topics so that I wouldn’t notice.
This time I got completely suspicious about if they are really the people they claim to be. Sharma – has no basic idea about CCIE, but CCIE exam demands the applicant to know every single number of the device. The exam is so stenous, that only 15% of testtakers pass. The passing rate of that exam is lower than the passing rate of most Bar Exams. In fact, there are less CCIE people in the world than there are Harvard Graduates. Therefore, simple queries should not be taking so long to answer, and there should never have been any need to look for answers via google or ebay.
More mystics then actual knowledge. Puneet, when I said I need all his information to verify the things directly with Cisco, he simply blocked me, and referred to talk to Sharma Sachin about this.
Then by looking more closely I figured out from the email he sent with where to send the payment, that there was a name mismatch:

First Name : Krishan Kumar
Last Name : Sharma
Address : 2978/2 Ist Floor Ranjit Nagar ,
City : New Delhi
State : Delhi or New Delhi
Pin : 110008
Email : [email protected]
phone : 919810159491
There is a Krishan Kumar and a Sachin. Since the last name is the same, it must be the relative, most likely the brother who is involved into this scam. Krishan Kumar is using Sachin’s CCIE license, and has no idea about the CCIE things, however scams most likely tons of people. When I asked him to take me the picture hold the date on a paper and write Cisco Verification to be sure that he took that picture in real time, he sent me 2 other old pictures. When I viewed the properties for the photos, I was shocked to see that they were 2 hours old, and around 200 pictures were taken in between the first and second picture. Why would this be done in the first place? Looks like more people he attempted to fool got suspicious about his work. He shows that he passed the CCIE after skipping CCNP exam, and that he passed on his second attempt- quite a large feat considering how inept he is in dealing with simple tasks.
Brother, in another hand most likely also purchased from some firm his certification, otherwise I don’t think he would allow without control for Krishan Kumar Sharma to access his Cisco Certification Account to scam the people up to that level, that he cannot even assemble the equipment for RS which is the most basic thing to do.

If this guy is around – avoid him at all cost. He will scam you. You can forget about the refund too – he says his mom is sick so he needs money.
I reported him to oDesk already, and to Cisco, I think I will contact attorney general as well about this matter.
He is even good at making the things up. After scamming, he claims still to be Sachin Sharma!, and accuses me of demanding him to pay using Xoom (the payment system I never even used before! Or heard of!). He wants to get out of the radar at any cost. But cannot explain what else did he provide for a payment he received, or who is Kumar.

This employer has put more than 60 job postings on odesk and then makes contact out of the odesk to talk the workers . So far he has not chosen a single provider and working already outside with many of them . I was told by him only , Didn't he told you about the same
He is just using odesk to find talent and then contacting the engineers and getting his work out of odesk and paying directly.
As you already know that I need not to pay any fees to odesk as odesk's fees is charged from employer so why should I take him out of odesk . He wants to save 10% that is why he has told me that he wants to work out of odesk .
Also I am working with more than 5 employer on the odesk without any issues and with good feedback and he does not have a single hire in last couple of months . So odesk fees is not " high fees" and "time consuming"
I have already provided proof of my technical expertise and but he is still not satisfied .
I understand odesk policies and adhere to the same .
Every other day he finds a cheaper resource and leaves the earlier one .
Regards
Sachin

Please note, he was one of the most expensive out of all CCIEs , claiming 7 years of experience in French Telecom.
His proof of Technical skills = copying the other websites , and the ebay. Don’t expect an answer from him if asking any particular question requiring real technical expertise. His only talent is fooling people with flashy fluff. Once you pay him, all that is unraveled. Then you would not understand if he is drunk, or sleepy.
