I signed up for web hosting with siteground a year ago January. I did not read the fine print that said there was an automatic renewal clause. When I saw that I was being charged for a whole year 15 days before the new year actually started ("as a convenience") I called to get a refund. After *much* difficulty, I got a person who said they could only refund 2/3 the amount. I never, ever used the service, and this was two weeks before the new term was supposed to begin. This is an outrage! I disputed the charge with my credit card company (Wells Fargo), which told me just today that they were siding with siteground! I called siteground, and they refused to make *any* refund at all now--not even a partial one.
