Toyota is making sub-standard cars or trucks and they fail to admit that their quality is worse than 3rd world car makers. Here is the correspondence I am having wit Toyota Canada. My truck has two striker. One is perfectly fine and the other is gone(rusted) in 4 years. I asked Toyota to proof that they did not use junk material to make their cars. They are just passing the buck and not admitting that their vehicle is lemon and their customer service is sub standard. I am posting the correspondence I had with Toyota. After writing is a strong language, they finally opened a ticket to look into my complain but I have not heard from them. They will close this investigation and blame global warming for all the trouble they are facing with 90% cars they built getting recalled. May god save this company :-)

does one of the door striker gets rusted but the other one does not. I
still say Toyota used defective material to produce the vehicle. I am looking forward to hearing from you. If you like to escalate this at
your side, it will be helpful. I like to find the answer to why one of the
door striker gets rusted and the other one does not. If the material used
is sub-standard, then this will make the part go bad. The issue I faced
proves this 100% that Toyota used defective parts in the vehicle. With all the bad publicity Toyota is receiving from sub-standard cars being
manufactured and almost 90% cars getting recalled in last few years, I am
expecting Toyota to be more sensitive to customer complains and look in the
matter seriously and not just pass judgement. Thanks for your time on this matter, Regards
