I took my car to Willies Automotive center on N. lamar in Austin TX to get an oil change and the owner purposly crack my radiator. My brother is a mechanic and works on my car monthly so i know when something is wrong because he will get on me about it. When I left the buisness my car was overheating and in worst conditon by the time I reached home. Had I would of lived farther I would of known because it would of overheated like it did this morning when I started it and ran it for longer than 30 minutes. I called the shop immediatly and told them the problems and my concerns and they said bring it in and not only will they look at it but drain all the water I put in it to keep it from overheating and put coolant. Well I sent my sons father in there, because I figured they wont scam a guy, well Willie the owner said I had to buy the antifreeze and he quoted me $439.00 to replace my radiator. My babys father told Willie to honor what he said over the phone because he could of got the quote over the phone, meanwhile the car was pouring hot water out of two spots on the radiator. He refused and then threatend him with calling the police because he said he would call 7 on your side and picket in the front of the store. My babies father was soooo distraught and upset he cancelled the deal all the way out and split. BUT its far from over with. We asked the guy to be fair and meet us hAlf way. we asked how much was the labor on the install and he said 196.00 . He said he cant work that down. We asked if we bring our own radiator can he hepl us out for the inconvience, he said no and called the police and said he needed assistance to remove someone from his buisness, so he said "dont worry about it Iwill leave". That place is a joke Dont bring your car there, they will purposely damage your vehicle for repeat customers thats why there our offering the so called deal they have.
