I wire transfered money to Adam Cohen via his company PacVest. for a condo rental in Miami Florida. The condo rental was cancelled and we never received deposit back.

We called him at least 20 times all we got were one broken promise after another. He advertised on Craigs list and used PayPall.

This person has a history of these problems and needs to be stopped.

Adam Cohen sub-leased me his condo, and as required by terms of the lease, I wired him a '1st month's' rent depost. Days before taking possession, I was informed by Mr. Cohen that he would not be able to comply with terms of the lease, as the building's management had terminated his lease agreement. As in all of his other 'rip offs', Cohen said he would return my deposit but as you might suspect, he did not do so! I had my lawyer file a suit in Small Claims court, and have been notifed that a hearing before a judge will be scheduled in mid April. The claim amount will not only include the amount of my 1st month's rent deposit, but will also include all expenses, i.e. legal, hotel (I live in Connecticut so, will have to travel to Miami to present my case) and air fare costs. After I have been awarded a judgement ( should be a 'slam dunk' based on evidence), I plan to proceed, with assistance of legal, to garnishee his bank accounts (should he have any), attach any assets he may have. Further, I hope to become his worst nightmare, and by doing so, completely destroy his reputation and any efforts he may put forth to operate a business enterprise going forward. Moreover, these efforts will also include his parents, who I believe are enablers!
