AJ Kennels Poor Quality Sickly Puppies Allen, Nebraska

After weeks of searching for the perfect Cocker puppy we found AJ Kennels on the internet. Aimee was so nice,answered many e-mails and talked several times to me on the phone. All signs looked good,beautiful website,beautiful dogs and a nice breeder. We decided to purchased a red and white 4 week old puppy and sent the 1/2 of his 1000.00 price deposit to Aimee. After deposit was sent everything changed,no replies to e-mails or phone calls,no photos as promised,she was much to busy to answer any questions or updates on our puppy. Weeks went by and finally when it was time for the remaining 500.00 to be sent, Aimee had time to talk to us again and asure us all was well with our puppy. What does one do at this point? We already had so much money and time involved that we sent 800.00 more for puppy and shipping. We was very excited to pick up our much waited for puppy at the airport. We did not expect to see the thin,sickly scared of everything and everyone puppy that we recieved. I have been around Cockers for over 30 years and this little fellow was the saddest case I have ever seen. Her website states her children play with all her puppies and they are raised in the house with love and care as she mothers them. Anyone could tell this puppy had never been in a house,every household noise sent him running into corners shaking. He was only with us for a few short weeks and starting having seizures,we rushed him to the vet over and over as they started coming more offen. I would just sit and hold this tiny boy and cry as it was so sad he never had a chance. He was poorly bred,not taken care of,he was never loved as a baby or played with...he was just a scared little puppy who I will never forget. I will also never forget Aimee and what she did to our family or the well being of the Cocker breed. She promised us a replacement puppy after hundreds more were spent in vet bills and the heartbreaking time we had as he had to be put to sleep...but that promise was never forfilled. She became nasty and very ugly when her next litter was ready to sell. At this point we decided we did not want another dog from someone with her morals. We lost thousands of dollars dealing with AJ Kennels, Aimee's standards are unforgivable and I am so glad to see she has finally come to the end of her cycle. She has hurt many people and Cockers. It will take many years of true caring breeders to undo what she has done. I will always remember the tiny little puppy and he will always have a place in my heart. I hope no one every has to go through what we did or has to deal with a person like Aimee Fowler!
