Allstate Check Recovery
Allstate Check Recovery SCAM - FRAUD - ILLEGAL Internet
9th of Jun, 2011 by User358453
I had been receiving calls on my cell phone from an Unknown number for days. About three weeks ago I received a message saying, they were a process server and I was being sued for writing bad checks. I needed to call 877-275-5380 and resolve the matter or they would serve me at my home, work or any other place that they saw me. I immediately called the number back and spoke with someone and they informed me that I had written checks to Cash Advance in 2007 and they needed to collect or they would see me in court. I told him I had not received anything in the mail regarding an outstanding debt with Cash Advance, so I would need him to forward that to me so I could verify the information. He wouldn't do it. I said I can't help you then. So, the calls kept coming and I kept ignoring them and finally did a search online about their company and low and behold I see a lot of scam reports on them. I find it amazing that everyone was told they owe $995. Anyway, this week a woman called my job and said she was a process server and she needed to set up a time to meet me to serve me. I told her she could meet me at my house at 6pm. She said well wait, there's an addendum that states you can call and make arrangements to pay. I told her I knew this was a scam and she said this isn't a scam. I'm holding the summons in my hand. I asked her who the Plaintiff was and she said it wasn't on there. Now, who's the bigger dummy me or her, because EVERY summons has who the Plaintiff is and who the Defendant is. So I told her I was done talking to her. I hung up, she called RIGHT back. I told her don't call here again. She said she'd be here in 30 minutes. Let me tell you that was on Monday today is Friday. I haven't seen her yet and the phone calls stopped. AMAZING!! People spend this much time trying to scam others. Beware of anyone calling from Allstate Check Recovery!!!

Yes this company is a scam, my special friend works at the Rock Hill location (of off Dave Lyle Blvd) and she tells me about how much she hates the job. The way they have to lie to the customer to get them to pay the loan. She was telling me yesterday just how one of the managers Martin Cantu locked the doors yesterday morning (Tuesday) so no one could get in or out, this is against fire codes and the law. She also says that the owner Angel Lopez has a sex scandel going on with an ex-employee and that the district manager Martin Cantu is going with an employee also. I'm telling you from my girlfriend's own words if anyone from ACS or Allstate Check Recovery calls report it right away. THEY ARE A SCAM!! I will keep you all posted because they will be changing their name and numbers soon and possible the location.
