Altech Autopage Cellullar WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE Jeffreys Bay, Internet

PLEASE THIS IS FOR EVERYONE EVER THINKING OF SIGNING UP WITH AUTOPAGE,DO NOT MAKE THE WORST MISTAKE IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!THESE PEOPLE ARE USELESS!!!!! THEY ARE THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER EVER TO EXIST!!!!! AND PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR FIRST AND CHECK ALL THE COMPLAINTS I HAVE POSTED IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS, JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF THE HELL I AM GOING THROUGH, I NOW HAVE TO COST THEM MORE THAN I AM WORTH TO THEM IN ORDER FOR THEM TO LET ME OUT OF THE CONTRACT, AND I NOW HAVE TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION AS WELL. AUTOPAGE HAVE MADE MY LIFE AN ABSOLUTE H**L!!!!!!!!!! AND NOW I HAVE TO TAKE ACTION, I HAVE HAD IT... Since I've signed up with Autopage/Cell C it has been absolute HELL, before I signed up I was on vodacom pay as you go, Then I signed an "anytime 100" Cell C contract through Autopage Jeffreys bay (may I just mention that they have very helpful and I do realise that their service delivery relies on the competence of head office) . This is what followed: 1.) When I applied for the contract I mentioned to the lady dealing with my application that due to company policy, that the phone(Nokia e63) had to be black....she said that it would be fine. A week past and when I popped in to check up on the progress I was told that there was a problem with the new Cell C sim cards, but that I could take the new hand set and use my current sim card until such time that they could get my new sim card, so I agreed,but when I was given the handset I noticed that the phone was blue...(now normally I would not care about colour, but it is company policy that I have a black phone) so the lady apologized & said she would order me a black one. 2.) A few days later Autopage/Cell C ported my number, and this BEFORE my new sim card and handset had even arrived in Jeffreys Bay, therefore I had to go 2 days without any communication, then finally after three days Autopage phoned and said that the hand set and sim had arrived in Jeffreys Bay. so I went to pick it up, while in the shop I noticed that the new hand set was blue, and the lady said that I would not possible to get a black hand set on a Cell C contract, so I said that in that case I rather wanted to cancel the contract....so the lady said that I should wait and see if she could order me a black hand set from another supplier and do a sim swop. And she also said that in the meantime I can take the new sim card (because my number had already been ported.) and use it in my old phone so I did. 3.) That same day I subscribed to "my account pro" and noticed that on my first invoice that I was being charged a connection fee, and I was being charged for caller I.D. The contract which I signed up with stated that I would receive FREE CONNECTION and FREE CALLER ID. So I contacted Autopage and spoke to "Harshana Hiralall" again, and filed another complaint, she said she would attend to it, four days later and they finally managed to sort out the connection fee which I was told could not be reversed, But that I would still have to pay for the mistake and then be credited for it in my next invoice. furthermore..... they totally disconnected my caller I.D service!!!!!!, and so I had to go back to Autopage to try and get it sorted. 4.) Two weeks and four days after signing the contract I finally got a phone call from Autopage saying that my black hand set had arrived. and that my account seemed to be sorted out. 5.) On Friday the 2nd of October I noticed that I couldn't make or receive any phone calls, and on Saturday the 3rd I had to go to Jeffreys bay to log a complaint. When I tried to make a call, all the handset was showing was a message which read "connection error" and i couldn't receive calls neither 6.) FOUR DAYS PASSED and I still could make no phone calls.....Then all of a sudden my phone just displayed a message saying "sim card registration failed"!!!! so I went back to Autopage. 7) The ladies at Autopage managed to get them to sort the sim registration out, but mentioned that I would still not be able to make or receive calls. 8) This morning it has been 8 DAYS!!!!!!! that I have not been able to receive or make calls, and this is my business line and I own my own company. My business has suffered severely due to what seems to be a case of incompetence from a service provider... and to make things worse an Autopage representative gave me a call today to follow up on all my complaints on Hello peter, while logging yet another complaint he asked me to go into my menu and search manually for connection, and said I should change the settings to vodacom.....so I did .....it worked for two hours....then when I tried to contact a client the phone said that my service had been suspended and that I should contact my service provider..(BUT IT WOULDN'T LET ME CONTACT ANYONE INCLUDING MY SERVICE PROVIDER!!!! 9) Now I don't live in Jeffreys Bay, so i once again had to drive to Jeffreys Bay to Autopage to try and get this sorted...The lady there finally managed to sort it out, But she said it would take 2 - 24 hours to connect me again.....in the meantime when anyone tries to contact my number it says NUMBER BARRED.......THIS IS A BUSINESS LINE!!!!!! FOR PETES SAKE!!!! how does it sound to my clients when they try to reach me and they get this message!!!!!!!! 10) The final straw came when she ended it all by saying that even after I would be reconnected, that I would still not be able to make or receive phone calls as "that " issue has still not been dealt with...... I have only had an account with autopage for 3 months now, and my business has suffered tremendously due to the incompetence of Altech Autopage, as I write this it is Sunday the 7th of November and my phone has been soft barred for the sixth time this month!!!!! and this after I received a confirmation sms that my limit has been increased to R2000.00.......BUT I HAVE NOT EVEN USED MY FREE MINUTES THIS MONTH!!!!!!!! WHY ARE YOU STILL SOFT BARRING ME!!!!!!!!!PLEASE THIS IS FOR EVERYONE EVER THINKING OF SIGNING UP WITH AUTOPAGE,DO NOT MAKE THE WORST MISTAKE IN YOUR LIFE>>>>THESE PEOPLE ARE USELESS!!!!! AUTOPAGE HAVE MADE MY LIFE AN ABSOLUTE H**L!!!!!!!!!! AND NOW I HAVE TO TAKE ACTION, I HAVE HAD IT... Since the very beginning i have been recording all the calls with the Autopage/Cell C Operators and all the numerous complaints and responses logged with Hello Peter, and every time I contacted your staff I would make a point of making sure that they confirm that the issue was not my fault, and that the problem was on your side. I forwarded everything to my lawyers, including a letter in which a client stated that due to failure to communicate with them led to them sourcing the services of another company, and which meant that i had lost out on a job that would have paid my company R 34 000.00, not to mention any other Business which I have lost out on over the past six days that I have been offline and the days when your company ported my number without having provided me with my new phone and sim card. Now if given no choice I would have to see this as a legal matter which should be handed over entirely to our lawyers to pursue, This is totally unacceptable
to the operations of my business, and has proven to cost me and my business a lot of money, not to mention an issue with which my company should not have to deal with, I have been advised by our lawyers that before we decide to go the legal route, that I should first request that you should consider the following : 1) My Contract must be cancelled. 2) I would like my Number back (or ported to a sim card of my choice) 3) You can take the handset back with the greatest pleasure 4) I do not want to en-cure ANY!!!!! costs for cancellation 5) I want this in writing and signed, stating that I won't be charged anything for cancellation 6) I want to walk away from this contract and we try to forget that our paths had ever crossed. 7) And should this all happen smoothly we would not need to make this a legal matter which could be avoided.
