We have purchased extended warranties on most or all of our appliances. Unfortunately, this company(s) makes a habit of bombarding you with multiple offers of extended warranties. If you aren't paying close attention you will be paying 2 or 3 times for the same appliance. I can't imagine how many older people they are taking to the cleaners. Theyv'e gotten me twice now. The first time I had a washer and dryer that were covered twice. They refused to issue a refund because both of the warranties were close to expiring, even though you only need one. I contacted the Ohio State Attorney General's Office. After a few exchanges, I never heard back from them.
If you purchase a warranty from your original dealer, pay very close attention! You will receive an offer soon after, stating that your agreement will expire. If you are like us, you like to keep these current. Then over time you keep getting more and more offers. Do not extend on-line. You will receive no paperwork from the company. On my recent exchange they blamed me for paying online! Like I just love to send them money! Crooks and Thieves.
