Assured Relocation Trisha and Dale DESTROYED my house with renters. Menlo Park, California

I have a house in Texas that I had for rent. I was contacted my Assured Relocation to place a family in my home that had a house fire. I was told by Trisha at Assured Relocation that they would pay me more in rent due to a shorter contract then what I was asking for. We come to an agreement and Assured Relocation sent me a contract to sign between the renters and I. The renters were moving in as I was moving a few of my belongings out at the same time. The movers were extremely inconsiderate of my house , hitting walls with furniture and not whipping their feet off to walk on the brand new carpet we JUST had put in. They started getting marks on the carpet and didn't care. That night we get a phone call from the new renters saying the house wasnt cool enough and I explained to them that the door had been open all day and it is triple digits outside and it being a large 5 bedroom house will take time for it to cool down. Eight O'Clock the next morning Trisha with Assured Relocation called me threatening me that if we didnt get someone out to fix the A/C then they would take all the money back and break contract...so unsure of what their powers were my husband and I paid $300.00 to have our A/C serviced, A/C contractor said there wasnt anything wrong with the A/C so they cleaned the coils and charged it just in case..I have a receipt to prove this. Well about two weeks later (last night 8/2/11) at 11:00pm. I received a phone call from the renters stating "my six year old grandson was in the master bathroom and somehow the water pipe to the toilet busted and there is 6 INCHES of water in the house" . Flooded my bathroom which has beautiful slate tile, flooded the brand new carpet we JUST had put down and went into the dinning room and went under the wooden floor (planks). So fist thing this morning we get a phone call from Trisha with Assured Relocation telling us we need to fix this problem since the renters are now with out water. THAT is where my husband and I drew the line, We explained to Trisha that THEY are responsible since THEY broke it and WE will NOT pay for a thing. The conversation only got worse from there. After I was hung up on, we were told by another lady by the name of Dale that Assured Relocation is not liable for ANYTHING that happens to our house since Assured Relocation is NOT the ones who signed the contract! However we can prove the contract came from them since they put the contract together and sent it via E-Mail on THEIR letterhead . We contact our insurance agency and they told us we are covered but the renters should have renters insurance to cover this problem and if they don't then our deductable will need to be paid at $1,559.00 So if the renters don't have renters insurance then that money come out of MY pocket to salvage my house. My insurance Co. said floors will need to be ripped out and possible replace sub floor, Lower portion of walls need to be replace to prevent mold...and Assured Relocation takes NO responsibility for this. However Assured Relocation told us that they are having a plumber sent out to our house and will bill us for it. This company is a JOKE and is obviously destroying lives everywhere. One more point, we informed them that there are more people living with them then we were told and we know this because my husband is a Police Officer and has locked this one individual up and is not part of this contract! So now we have squatters at our house and once again Assured Relocation will do nothing about it! I need some help here and This company needs to be held liable...next step is court!
