Backcountry Racks Travis Goodkind Overcharged and lied about installation Missoula, Montana

The owner of the store, backcountryracks.com is a liar and thief. He overcharged me for a rack I bought and then messed up the installation so bad on my VW that it damaged my roof. I bought a Thule rack from these guys about a month ago - they took forever to do the installation and then I found out they charged me $100 more than the IDENTICAL rack found at 4 other locations in Missoula, MT. They also damaged my car when they installed the rack (they claimed they'd done this 100's of times before) but it was clear they didn't know what they were doing. When I asked them to pay for the damage, Travis Goodkind, the owner told me they weren't going to and that my car was already damaged. My car is only 2 months old and the damage wasn't there before, trust me. The owner (Travis Goodkind) started yelling at me in the store and told me that if I didn't leave him alone, he would call the police. He also threatened me saying he "knew where I lived" and that he would come and get his rack back sometime. When I reported this to the police, they talked to him and he apologized but that was it and no charges were filed. The people who run this store should be ashamed of themselves.

Every statement in this post is 100% false. I would like to challenge the poster to provide a single detail to support these outlandish and harmful claims. Anyone who knows me or has been in my store knows that this is nothing but a bunch of lies.
