I was told on the day that I decided to purchase the furniture that the store had their own financing as long as you had a checking account. He said that you could get up $1,200 of furniture and pay $187 a month for 12 months. I told him that was too much to pay for the bedroom set and a kitchen table with four chairs. Well, then he said "don't worry about the finance charges as long as you pay the $1.250 (50 tax fee) off in 6 months there won't be any finance charges". Well, that was a bold face lie. But at the time I believed him because he acted so nice and honest, and respectful. Now I'm stuck with a $2,248 furniture bill, and I'm angry. But that's not all the furniture is of poor quality and workmanship. The furniture started falling apart within six months. Tried to get them to fix it for three months and only got the run around in no less than six trips to the store because they won't answer their phones. There's even more to tell but not enough room.

I warn you the public, don't shop at Budget Furniture on 12th and Vliet.
