having been a member since 6/05/2008 and having spent 1 1/2 yrs as a volunteer doing maintenance work there trying to improve the campground for the other members and myself under several different managers, all to their satisfaction. I requested that I be put on payroll so as to be compensated for the technician work I was being requested to do ,this request was denied and I quit being a volunteer at the campground. During the time I was a volunteer I had made many statements to mgr. that there were many thing that weren't done and that the resort was going down hill ( as others have posted on this site) and other members were repeatedly asking why these things were not fixed , to which I replied the owners don't want to spend the money as I was told by these same mangers. It would appear that the owners of CHERRY VALLEY LAKES RESORT can't handle the truth , or they don't want it to be told . Because last Sunday , even though I had a reservation for my 2 week stay when I arrived to check in I was meet by the "NEW" management team , and was handed a letter addressed from Randy Wright of Emerald Cove Resort and told that I was "BANDED" from "ALL" C R A resorts as a member or as a guest. In the envelope was a check for most all the money I had invested in this resort time share $5,457.50 but nothing explaining as to why they were taking this action , nor was there ever any E - mail or letter from Randy Wright or any of the other owners explaining their action. When I asked why of the "NEW" managers they said they didn't know ? After seeing for my self how the owners of this resort time share operate I can only say one thing. Thank God I am out of their contract and as a bonus I will not have to file a suit against them for them breaching their contract by not maintaining their resort to the 5 star standard as they stated in their original presentation to get my investment back. As my title state " FREE AT LAST". Buyer Beware!
