My girlfriend put Comcast internet/TV in our home. After you pay you bill for 6 months without your service being suspended, you get a $100 Visa Gift Card. You will likely NEVER SEE THAT CARD!! We had no trouble whatsoever with our service until they didn't send the e-bill, as it was arranged.
She has a Yahoo email address, but RECEIVED NO BILL. The next thing we know, the service it suspended. She contacted Comcast and they said they sent the bill to her comcast.net email, of which she was totally unaware. HOW DO YOU PAY A BILL YOU DON'T RECEIVE? She told them, well ahead of time, where to send her E-bill email, but they didn't stick to the deal. She paid the requisite money to turn the service back on, HER VISA GIFT CARD HISTORY, and now, when we attempt to click on certain web sites, we get an annoying "Sign In Comcast" screen, AND IT ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT LET YOU SIGN IN! Even if you go to Comcast.net site and sign in, we still get it! We complained to Comcast, and they said it was Avast! virus protection; which is a BOLD FACED LIE! I know she used the same router at her previous home, for 2 years and used Avast! and used it here for months, with NO PROBLEM until they shut us off! Now it hassles us and we have to pay for the term of the agreement that they themselves will not honor. This is a level of harassment in my estimation! IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING INTERNET SERVICE WITH COMMIE CAST, GET A CHECK UP FROM THE NECK UP! THEY SUCK! If they promise you a Visa Gift card, don't count on it. They will set you up to fail. The Evil Empire, AT&T did something similar to me, but THEY didn't harass me later after they made it clear how to pay them and got it done.
