Comfy Control Harness/As Seen on TV Was going to place order, changed my mind, company charged card anyways. Internet, New Jersey

I was going to place an order for the Comfy Control Harness. I placed all my information and then decided against placing the order after reading negative reviews against these harnesses. I did not complete the order. However the company charged my debit card anyway. This is in clear violation of Regulation E; which states no one can charge one's debit card without your permission. Rep stated that since I put my debit card info on their website, I placed an order. I beg to differ. I did not click process order. Do NOT order from these shysters. What they are doing is against the law.

Same thing happened to me but after reading the reviews (too late) and calling to cancel the order finding out what a hassle it would be to get refunded, I cancelled the card I used. I called my local police department because it seemed so illegal. But an officer from a fraud unit went to the site with me on the phone and said they can get away with it because of the small print. That's just shady business. I also filed a complaint with the BBB, I was complainant #1439. Unbelievable that it's legal. My card would have been charged $58.63 for what I added up to be $32.95!
