Daily Deal Digital Charged credit card and never delivered product Boca Rotan, Florida

In October, I ordered a digital camera from Daily Deal Digital online. Almost immediately, I received an email confirmation that I needed to call a number that they needed further verification before they could place my order. (That should have been a red flag to me right then!) The operator convinced me to buy the memory card, battery pack, and an upgraded camera bag and add it to my order. They didn't need any more information from me, they just wanted to see me more - which I fell for. The next email stated that my order was confirmed and approved for delivery and that I would get a follow-up email so that I could track my shipping. I never received the follow up email. I contacted them later in the month of November (via email) to inform them that I didn't get a follow up email and that I still did not get my camera and accessories but my charge card was debited on November 1st. No reply again. I called them and was told that the shipping guy was out of the office until 3 pm and that he would get back to me. Well, 'john' called and told me that somehow my camera got lost in shipping but they were sending another one out immediately and I was guaranteed arrival between Nov. 25th and Dec. 3rd. He even gave me his name and his extension number if I had any further problems. On Dec. 3rd, I called to inform them that I still had not received the camera. The extension that I was given is answered by 'Liam' no 'John' and all I ever do is leave a message. After many many phone calls and emailing every address listed on their website, I have still not had any response from the company. It is now Dec. 7th, and I am out $429.99! If a 'deal sounds too goo to be true, it probably is!" I have filed a complaint with the Florida Better Business Bureau and will be contacting my credit card company later today to see if there is any recourse for my stupidity. Next time, I will buy from a reputable dealer that I can deal with face to face.
