Dalworth Clean
Dalworth Clean Dalworth, Dalwoth Clean Franchise is a major scam Euless, Texas
15th of Jan, 2011 by User132826
The owner of the franchising company is James Smith The President of the franchising company is Clark Lovrien.

Before I started my franchise I met with Clark and exchanged emails with him many times trying to make sure I understood every aspect of the program. I asked if they had company operations that would be competing against me. He answered no, they have only a couple of employees that help handle overflow. He said this in an email I have. After I started I found out they had over a dozen sub contractors in the system competing for the same jobs as me. They now have more sub contractors than Franchise operators in the system Before I signed the contract I was told that my clients once serviced would be my clients. In fact they are often serviced by the sub contractors and other franchisee's making it very hard to build your business.

Before I started I was told that I could change my schedule anytime I wanted, as long as I gave three days notice, I could even leave my business and come back to it and it would still be there for me. How my schedule was developed was in the disclosure and in the contract.I was in control of my hours worked and the number of jobs I did each day. The entire description was less than a page in length. Now the requirements have been changed to 86 pages of requirements you must meet or work will not be given to you. Instead of three days notice to change your schedule you now have to give 60 days. They presented themselves before contract was signed as a stable company in business for 30 year with their system completely figured out so you cannot fail. Since starting with Dalworth I have witnessed a 100% turnover rate. Many are forced to liquidate their business at a loss or by filing bankruptcy. In an attempt to hide the true results of failed franchise's they will sell your franchise for you to the next unsuspecting rube but you have to pay them to do it, and any losses in your equipment values are yours. This constant churn of people is not considering a new franchise by them, and anyone looking at the system is not really aware of all the people who have had the very same franchise. They tell you before you sign the agreement with them that they have built in protections and language in their paperwork to protect you from unscrupulous clients. They have mediation clauses in the paperwork so that if there is a dispute between you and a client you have some protection. What they don't tell you is that they will never side with you in a dispute. If a client complains about a mistake made by Dalworth, You pay. If a client says they thought something they didn't order is included in the service you provide it at your loss or they will send someone else to do it and charge you for the service performed. They tell you that they will give you seven days to settle a dispute with a client, but they never do they just take money from your next settlement. They have added fees and service level measurements that were not disclosed in the original documents. They just take money out of your earnings with no notice or documentation. They tell you about the high rate of earnings you can make, but not a single person ever makes those higher rates no matter how great their execution of the program. Another item they don't tell you about is the number of different contracts they have with Franchise's. Not only is there not one, but there are five different contracts, each offering is completely different in what it offers and how much you can earn. This doesn't include all the different sub contractor contracts that they don't discuss with us. I have lost so much money that I think a bankruptcy is my only clear choice ahead. This company will rip you off stay away!!!!!

I feel your pain.
The subcontractors are losing in the company too. I had been a subcontractor for many years before I had to leave, due to the fact that they used subcontractors to fill in the void of schedules. My schedule would start in North Dallas, South Dallas, Denton back to South Dallas and I did live in Arlington. I have known a lot of subcontractors that have left, because they lost to much money. I had one truck, but there were subcontractors that had two-three trucks and two subcontractors that had five trucks running for Dalworth that isn't there any more. Their whole system is about Dalworth making money and not the guys that have laid everything on the line for them. Yeah it sucks, but can you do?
