DHL Joyce Stellino, Yvette Lawson Fraudulent Claims Policy -- Won't Pay Freight Damage Plantation , Florida

I purchased some heat sinks from a company called Dongguan Xinlong Electronics Produce Co LTD.
Dongguan apparently drop shipped the merchandise from a company called Maranata Trading Company. However, I was not aware of this arrangement prior to the freight arriving in the US. Upon its arrival, I discovered that over half of the freight was damaged. I contacted DHL and filed a claim, and DHL indicated that I had no standing to file a claim because I was not the shipper.
However, I had prepaid the shipping charges. DHL alleges that only Maranata Trading company has any standing to file a claim. Furthermore DHL alleges that because Maranata trading company only declared $5 as declared value for each heat sink, my claim was limited to $5. However I had 3 heat sinks damaged. I have no business relationship with Maranata Trading Company. I never paid them any money. I did provide proof of purchase, as well as an invoice, and proof of bank wire to DHL, but they refused to accept it. My conclusion is that DHL is a big crook, and should be avoided. They don't pay their freight claims. Shippers would be better off using a company like UPS.
