Diamond Suzuki
Diamond Suzuki A Cut Below The Rest New Smyrna Bch, Florida
14th of Mar, 2011 by User207725
Diamond Suzuki advertises as being "A Cut Above The Rest", and says "We want to do everything we can to make sure your experience with us is 100% positive". My question is, is this conditional, do they choose the customers they want to have a positive experience or do they want everyone to have a positive experience? I am not a happy customer. They have not even tried to make me happy. They stated they did me a favor when they sold me my car. Well, my car doesn't work and has major problems I am a single parent living off of a waitress's salary with no child support. My previous car broke a month or two before I bought my new one from Diamond Suzuki. I went to Diamond Suzuki at least twice before I bought it. I spoke to the salesman asking questions and telling him my fears and concerns about buying a car. He assured me that they sold only "good" cars and the cars that were not good enough for them to sell they would give them to the used car dealers. He stated they wanted a good reputation and counted on word of mouth referrals. When I went to actually purchase my car, "the one he had just for me", I noticed what looked to be oil on the ground, the salesman said it was just water. On further inspection by my son it was found that the "water" was actually oil. The salesman assured me that the car was a really good car, there was nothing wrong with it as it had been thoroughly checked by their mechanics. He said it had been pressure washed under the hood and that the oil dripping down was just old excess oil and that it would probably be doing that for a couple of days. He said just to ease my mind he would call me every three days, but that he knew there was nothing wrong with the car. Well, it's been a little over a month and I have to put oil in my car every three days. I took it back to the dealership on two different occasions to have them look under the hood, but they wouldn't even look at it without $84 (the first time) and $75 the second time. I ended up taking it to a mechanic that would look at it for free and was told it was the oil pump plus bald tires, c/v boot, and p/s belt. I have reported them to the BBB, and contacted channel 9 News. Unfortunately, channel 9 News couldn't help me (even though they really wanted to) because it was a "buy as is" car. I totally understand that, even though it's still not fair business, but what I don't understand is how they could bold face lie to me, knowing I am below the poverty level, trying to raise a child, and needing my car to get back and forth to work and take and pick my son up from school. I spent all my money on this car in good faith, believing they were going to sell me a good car like they promised. I am very sad, disappointed and angry. How can people do this to another human being and live with themselves?
