I have been using Dr. Bissell as my Doctor for almost 2 yrs. I went to visit her for a sore throat and sinus drainage, My 4 yr old and 3 month old was with me when I went to visit her and my Fiancé, Before we went for my visit we just got back from a visit to the Grantsville Park where my 4 yr old was playing, we left the park and headed for my appointment when we got there my 4 yr old was acting out screaming, and throwing a fit since he assumed the doctor was seeing him but i assured him she was seeing me instead so we went into the waiting room and awaited the doctor onr you dont get a sucker" She looked at me and was telling me how her kids acted up so I felt better thinking she understood "kids will be kids" so my 4 yr old still throwing a fit another nurse walks in and I am starting to feel embarassed by now and she says "You wouldnt mind if he sat out in the waiting room with your Fiance would you?" I said "No he stays with his Mother" So she leaves the room and the other nurse starts asking me questions about my health concerns and I tell her whats been bugging me she writes it down and leaves saying "The doctor will be with you shortly" we sat there for about an hour and a half by this time my 4 yr old was getting bored and started acting up again closing the door and opening it, locking the door, shutting the lights on and off, and being loud so I assured him again and told him he better behave or we will leave I knew it was upsetting the nurses and the patients, My child opens the door again and sees the doctor standing outside of it and she says "I`ll be in in a minute" he laughs and closes the door and locks it I get up unlock the door and goes back to my seat and waits for the Doctor she comes in and looks at my Son with a disgusted look on her face and says "Since you wasnt being good you dont get a sucker when you leave" Then she looked at me and said "Why dont you get rid of him? You already have another child in the house you dont need this one" I was completely blown away by this, What gave her the right to say such a thing, I was about ready to get up and leave but my throat was hurting so bad I could barely swallow or take anymore she asked me what was wrong with me and I told her "My throat was hurting and sinus drainage" she wrote it down told me to get on the bed which i did, she checked my breathing, listened to my heart, checked my glands and went to sit down at her computer she ordered me some antibiotics she didnt even do a throat exam to see what was wrong with my throat most doctors do a strep test I couldve had mono or something worse and all she did was prescribe me antibiotics so she turned around to face me and said "Ok we are done today you can leave" So i got up got my kids ready and me and my Fiance walked out of the room and out into the waiting room where my 4 yr old stopped and was talking to the secretary and she said "You cant have a sucker you wasnt being good, maybe for your next visit you wont be screaming and throwing a fit" I just walked out before I said something i would regret, This doctor seems more interested with getting her money for the day instead of her patients she doesnt seem concerned with her patients needs and wants you can talk to her and its like she dont hear you. I dont know how a doctor like this got her license but its a miracle shes working in the field I quess now a days they let any duck join the field she is a quack, her head is filled with so many duck feathers she cant think straight or concentrate. I wouldnt recommend this doctor to any of my family or friends shes a waste of time.
