Florida Cockapoos Pat Jaimes KNOWINGLY SELLS DOGS INFESTED WITH TICKS TO FAMILIES Tarpon Springs, Florida

I purchased a cockapoo from Florida Cockapoos owned by Pat Jaimes that was infested with ticks. The dog was given a clean bill of health from her vet the day before I picked up the dog. The following day we brought the dog home and pulled 40 adult ticks off of it. Then we realized that baby seed ticks were falling off everywhere all over my home! I have two small children whose health was put into danger from the diseases these ticks carry. I called the seller immediately and told her of the situation, and that my house is now infested. She said well you signed the contract, and under the Florida Puppy Lemon Law they are allowed to be sold with ticks. Yeah maybe a tick or two, not 100! And if she knows she has a tick problem, why wasn't the dog given frontline? I said thanks alot for putting my family in this situation, and for the $200 exterminator bill. Guess what her response was..."you're welcome!" How could a breeder knowingly let a family with small children leave with a dog she knew was infested so badly? She is a wolf in sheep's clothing! The SPCA told me to file a civil suit against her asap. They also said she didn't have a certain kind of permit, and that she is now required to register with the SPCA and get a proper permit. They also said they called the vet she uses to get her health certificates, and he will no longer be signing off on any dogs for her because of her tick infested property.
