I signed up for a free one week trial at free credit score.com. Immediately my account was charged 29.95- I read all the fine print, it never mentioned that charge. Customer service response very quickly and they immediately denay the refunds. I called customer service and they informed me that they have a "no refunds" policy and that the 29.95 charge was for an "upgraded service I chose" I NEVER clicked on anything other than the free week trial and I only had my "membership" for about 30 minutes. I filed a report with the better business bureau and I encourage all of you to do the same. The companies info is as follows: freecreditscore.com Experian Consumer Reports Headquarters PO Box 19729 Irvine CA 92623 800.220.2626 |

Hello,
I recently had the same experience with freecreditscore.com. I canceled before my 7 day trial was ended, but noticed 29.95 was charged. I was NEVER prompted and told that 29.95 would be charged to my credit card for 'upgrade' fees. I actually took the time to carefully review their lengthy terms as well. I have filed a complaint with the FTC (https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/) and BBB. I e-mailed support at FreeCreditScore.com and Experian advising them to change this deceptive, and potentially fraudulent business practice. |

I had the exact same experience. I signed up, got my report and scores and immediatey cancelled my membership. A couple days later a 29.95 fee appeared on my credit card. After calling them up and arguing with them for some time, they agreed to refund me $15. What a rip-off! Stay away from this company! |

I also signed with creditreport.com and they immediately charged me 29.95$ on a free trial. When i called the customer care, they refused to return or refund the money. I read the fine print before signing in and there was no mention of a 29.95$ charged. What a rip-off! Going to file a complaint with BBB and FTC |

This is possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. I read all these reviews where people said they were getting ripped off by this company but I figured it was gross negligence, on their part. Turns out not. They charge the 29.95 immediately. No matter what you do and then refuse to refund anything until I am irate and then they will refund a max of $15. BBB and FTC here I come. Better watch out. |

Ditto.. They ripped off out of nowhere. Be careful and do not try it thinking its free. |
