Great Sports - Safer Wholesale Broken Hearted Grandsons New Lenox, Illinois |
8th of Nov, 2011 by User350038 |
I thought I would do something special for my 2 grandsons ages 8 and 11 for Christmas 2010 so I ordered a 90CC Gator Go-Kart from Saferwhole Sale. Imagine the excitement! We received the Go-Kart in plenty of time for Christmas. The Go-Kart came in a large crate and upon opening it we found the carburetor to be cracked. I immediately contacted Great Sports 12/17/10 and also sent pictures of the damaged part. Great Sports said they would ship the part out right away. So we wait and its getting closer to the day so I e-mail them to get a tracking number - it turns out the package is lost and I ask them to send another part out UPS NDA and they agree. We are getting panicky because it the 24th and the part is still not here. I e-mail Great Sports to get the tracking number and it turns out they sent the package UPS ground and we did not get it in time for Christmas. So my husband and I spend the day before Christmas trying to find a carburetor locally with no luck. We finally receive the new part on 12/28 and install it with no problems. The Go-kart starts ok and thats when we discover the brakeline is frozen. We try loosening the fittings and this does not work, the brakes are completely locked up. We again contact Great Sports and send photo's via e-mail. They agree to send out a new brakeline and fittings. Again we wait... We again e-mail them and they claim the parts are on backorder. I e-mail for updates on 1/17 and 2/4. Great Sport claims parts are not available or they cannot indentify. We try to find them locally, but the fittings are special and we have no luck. As of 11/9/11 we have not received the brakeline and fittings. I sent e-mails on 8/4, 9/12 and 11/9 with no reponse. My grandsons were never able to enjoy the Go-Kart and we ended up selling it for a loss. Instead jof calling it Saferwhole Sale they should call it Un-Safer Wholesale. |
