| On 10/21/2011 My husband took his 2004 Dodge Hemi 1500 pick up which was /is in excellent condition, $87,000 miles to Greenville Chrysler to trade for a more fuel efficient vehicle as we were in the process of relocating to Florida. This trade was supposed to be an even and comparable trade to OUR truck, no money exchanged. Greenville Chrysler's sales man was fully informed of this. when asked for the car fax before any transactions took place the salesman laughed and said he would try to find one. My husband asked 3 more times that day for the car fax, again refused, He was told it was not needed? And it really would not tell us much. My husband brought this vehicle home, by this time it was about 7 p.m. and was unable to get a really good check of this 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. The very next morning he went over it from front to back, and said he did not want this vehicle. He went back to the dealer ship and was told it was too late he could not have this truck back. Again a car fax was refused. My husband had to put at least $700.00 into this Greenville Chrysler vehicle. Oil, Transmission, brake fluid etc. None of these things had been done prior. At that time I went back to this dealership with my husband by now we are both very, very upset. I brought the police with us. I made a big stink, and pitched a fit, and told them I had a set of keys to OUR truck and they blocked OUR truck in there fore I was unable to take OUR truck, the Manager? sales manager? not sure who he really was asked he police to make us leave. Still no car fax!! On Monday after Greenville Chrysler had the time to move and get the title to OUR truck into Greenville Chrysler's name. Greenville Chrysler refused at all time to just let us have our Truck back and be done with them all together!!!!! On Monday 10/24/2011 My husband was handed the car fax, clearly showing this vehicle was a lemon buy back, and had serious foal pump issues showing this vehicle has changed owners more than 6 times, with liens to go with it. This Chrysler Pacifica has been moved from one car lot to another with in the owner ship of Greenville Chrysler. Before Leaving to go to Florida We tried to talk with the people at Greenville Chrysler, we apologized for MY actions. On OUr relocating trip we began have fuel pump issues, We purchased our own warranty through a reputable company, and have already had to use this warranty, how ever to date this Vehicle has not / cannot be fixed. I have spoken with Mr. Mark Downing (supposed part owner) since we have made our move to Florida, Mr Downing stated he was willing to work with us. If My husband wanted to bring back this Chrysler Pacifica Lemon Buy back, he would allow my husband to select (no reimbursement for the return trip) another vehicle, We thinking even and comparable to OUR truck. No this was not the case, It would have to be even and comparable to the Lemon Buy Back Chrysler Pacifica which is valued at around $5000.00. OUR Truck is valued at around $9000.00 to $10,000. Greenville Chrysler has it for sale right now for $13,000. We are both disabled and on a very fixed income, Our children live here in Florida thus the relocating. We are now bum broke, and unable to give our children / grand children nothing for Christmas. Greenville Chrysler has ripped us off BIG TIME, No one in that dealer ship cares about or have any regard for others lives or they would not be selling these DANGEROUS Lemon BUY Backs putting them back on the road. The Car Fax clearly states these Chrysler Lemon Buy Back's are dangerous to be on the road as they can catch fire, blow up, stall and causing harm . I refuse to drive this vehicle and most assuredly will never ever put MY GRAND CHILDREN in this Lemon Buy Back from Greenville Chrysler. Chrysler Paciica. If there is any one out there that can help us , We would greatly appreciate it. |
