Herff Jones/Unique Recognition is the company that distributes gowns for Aurora Public Schools.I was a student that ordered a gown rental and purchased a cap and tassel,i did not graduate on time but the following summer i did graduate. When i graduated i called to receive what i payed for they said since i didn't graduate on time they refused to let me borrow the gown i rented and refused to give me the cap and tassel i purchased.

After arguing with them relentlessly they finally agreed to only ship my cap and tassel. i do not recommend this company if you have a second option PLEASE go with them these people are simply GREEDY and don't care about anything else!

I worked for Herff Jones, and they are simply GREEDY and don't care about anything but money. I know first hand, that they're buying the caps and gowns from China, changing the labels to their own labels, SLAPPING A "MADE IN THE USA" LABEL ON THEM, and they aren't telling their customers any of that. They pay around 55 cents for a gown, and about 20 cents for a cap.
