I am sorry to say that I had a horrible experience with Ariana Studios. To begin, the florist refused to give us a quote. She stated she would call us with the quote and never did. She called about two weeks before our wedding to see if we still needed her services. Next comes the event planner - Jeff Artura. I initially enjoyed working with him until I realized he was cloaked in a world of double talk. We booked a package with Ariana Studios through the catering hall we used. Photography, DJ, Video, Limo were all included. Our photographer was phenomenal. She was easy to work with and very professional. She did leave an hour before the end of the reception. We are still waiting to contact Jeff about this. The videographer was also very easy to work with. My husband and I had to track down the DJ. On the day of the ceremony, the DJ finally returned our call to tell us he still did not have the ceremony music. We provided him with a cd that day. We were told that every single aspect of the package was included in what we paid to the catering hall. On the day of the wedding, the limo showed up with an invoice for $60 - apparently a mandatory gratuity. When we met with Jeff Artura prior to this, he stated that we could tip whatever we wanted, even $10. He denied this when my husband called him to straighten this out. Thankfully, my wedding day was still perfect, as I got to marry my husband. However, Ariana Studios and Jeff Artura did very little to make the day easier for us.

I cannot begin to describe the incompetence of the photography department. My photographer was fine on the day of the wedding, but nothing special. The pictures were boring and had very little variety. I have now been married 2 years and am still going back and forth trying to get my album and video. My parent albums came in something that looked like a day organizer with a velcro flap. Then, the guy actually cut a title from a piece of plain paper and inserted it in on a flap on the cover. I had to argue to get another one made. It had taken them 2 months to make the first, but when I complained they had the replacement, which wasn't much better, ready in 24 hours.

Jeff Artura is ridicuolus. He will not do anything unless you repeatedly call to see where he is, and every time he answers its like starting all over. He asks what stage were you up to, who are you, etc. And that is when you CAN get him on the phone. They usually just transfer you from the main line to various voicemails. Even if you leave a voicemail, they probably won't call you back for quite a while anyway.

When you get a proof of your wedding album, any changes they make to it are a huge ordeal. They don't understand how or what to change, so it leads to several appoints where you actually have to walk Jeff through step by step.

For my thank you notes, all I asked was the picture to be cropped slightly to center it. They had no idea how to change it, and I ended up choosing a different picture because they couldn't do it in the end.

Also, be careful of fee after fee for picking various things up. Everytime I have gone, its $200 or $300 for the proofs, or the album, or the video, or the thank you notes, when my contract was paid in full long before I was married.

Buyer beware- this was not a good experience.
