In November of 2010, I went searching for a merchant services company. I too, was lured in by ICS's low percentages. I went with ICS and thus began a year I will never forget..and neither will they. In the beginning, I thought everything was going along fine. I would receive my bill, pay it..and wait for the next one. But about 4 months in, I noticed that the monthly bill wasn't the only money coming out of my checking account. I noticed that anywhere from $100 to $150 on top of the amount they would bill be, was being deducted from my account. When I brought this to there attention, they told me that there must be an error and would look right into it. A month went by, I heard nothing..2 months..still nothing. During those two months..another $290 had been removed on top of the $96 that I was billed for. I have a small season company who does right around 5,000 to 6,000/month. Again, I called them to inquire why they were taking the extra money. Again, they said they didn't know what I was talking about and would look into it. 11 months and $1700 later, I again ask them about this. I knew this was wrong..but no one I talked to would see what I was talking about. Oh..did I mention the PCI/Compliance fees? I talked to the PCI people..and couldn't believe what I heard from them. When I mentioned to them that "they" billed me $129 for something..their reply was..We don't bill anyone. If your not compliant, then you might get fined or might be asked to get recertified and pay the certification fee again..but as for a yearly fee..thats not PCI. I asked ICS about this..and they said.."oh yeah..thats us..thats not PCI". I told them that my bank statement read PCI/Compliance..not the usual ICS to MTOT DSC whe they took money from my account. PCI was very interested in this and is looking into it further. Anyway, my contract is up tomorrow..and they thought they were getting those termination fees I read about on here. Well..here is how you avoid that. If your going to stop your business with ICS..and you know the date of the end of your contract..here is what I did. about 3 weeks prior to the end of the contract..I went to the packaging store..and bundled up all the material that came with the card readers...sent everything back registered and made it so they had to sign for it. Then, when I got the proof of delivery back..I called ICS up and said I'm terminating my contract with you. I have proof that you are in receipt of my card readers, therefore you have to waive all termination fees. They didn't like it, but what could they do. Bottom line..this company is nothing but a bunch of crooks..write down to the last customer service person..their all in on the scam..just to see how much they can get from a business..whether it be a small business like mine or a big business like Walmart..they are out to rob us blind..so DO NOT USE INTEGRATED CARD SERVICES FOR ANYTHING..PERIOD! Thanks
