Well i was ask by them to come and work for a few days at the daily amount of 100.00 a day cash.because there mechanic had got arrested on warrents charges.i agreed,.. after my first day the owner joseph had told me that i was doing a great job,and he was happy with my performance.now i was under the impression that i was getting 100.00 aday cash money. after the fifth day i come in and im told that the mechanic (frank)has returned so they wouldnt be needing me anymore,i said cool. all i need is my money for my five days.(owner)says that i need to fill out a w-4 ,show him d.d and s.s cards.(witch he new i didnt have either of)then he would give me a check.. how ever i do not work there, i was sub contracted out for those five days.only.. he then told me to get off his property and called the police. he said that i tried to strong arm him.can u belive it.
i then came home and got in touch with the labor board.and i made a complait againt that store and owner. as far as i no its illeagle to keep a persons earnings from them . someone stold my wallet thats why i dont have my dl or ss catds. and thats what i was going to do with my pay..
he also told me that he didnt have any w-4 forms and i would have to go and get them myself,fill them out,and return them to him. that they dont supply them.and he also said today that he didnt even no that i was working there until yesterday7. after talking to other people in the area,i found out that he has been caught and fined for the very same reason not to long ago.by a former employee that worked there undre the table, got fired and couldnt get his pay. so the guy turned him in andhe got busted. its a repeat with mje..no its not... so can any one plese help me.
