Laramie County Community College LCCC Employees Shorted Out Of Entitled Benefits Cheyenne, Wyoming
7th of Jul, 2011 by User322774
Laramie County Community College of Cheyenne Wyoming had employees in at least three areas possibly more than three areas on campus working over 20 hours per week for years on end. Under their policy working over 20 hours per week automatically entitles you to full LCCC benefits. NONE of those employees were ever offered their rightfully earned benefits. Rather than give these employees their rightfully earned benefits to solve the problem the college cut everybodys hours under 20. They honestly believed this was just fine with the employees claiming budget constraints. Interesting fact is they paid off the college president for 360,000 dollars a couple of months later. This president quit after the local newspaper discovered questionable actions followed by a cover by this institution and the college president. Here is direct link to factual scanned documents as proof positive of what several of their managers were doing to the employees. It is complete with a link back to the local newspaper that ran the story on this college
