A lot of the food at Healthy Gourmet did not appear to be organic at all, but this didn't bother me too much. I noticed that all the sandwiches were tightly wrapped and all the same price, whether there was meat nor not. Since I am a vegetarian I decided to try the mozzarella & roasted pepper sandwich. I paid $8.49 plus tax for this sandwich.

I found a seat at my gate, opened the sandwich, and really could not believe my eyes. The sandwich consisted of a doughy "whole grain" roll, one slice of mozzarella, 2 small, VERY thin slices of tomatoes, 2 small, very thin slices of cucumber, and a REALLY SMALL sliver of roasted red pepper. This sandwich, honestly, was mostly bread. It was definitely not worth the $9.24 I paid for it.

I brought the sandwich and receipt back to Healthy Gourmet. They refused to refund my money. I asked to see the manager, but of course he/she was not there. I ended up pushing the sandwich across a counter at the cashier because there was no way I would eat it. I intend to write to the company and insist on a refund.
