Maroone Dodge Pembroke Pines MAROONE DEALERSHIP IN PEMBROKE PINES IS A scam! Pembroke Pines, Florida

On February 5th 2011, I took my vehicle to Maroone Dodge to have a 60,000 mile tune-up on my 2007 Jeep Commander. I also requested that any critical services be done because 3 months prior, when I rec'd an oil change, I was given a list of items that were due for repairs. The service representative Michael,that I spoke with advised me that this would be done and I was given an estimate of $998. I also had gotten a flat tire a week before on the right front passenger side and my spare tire had to be used. I advised Michael of this and told him that I had tire protection and that I needed to have a replacement tire. I told him to have the mechanic remove the spare and put it back in it's place and to put the new tire on the vehicle. I picked up my car after the service dept. was already closed, but at first glance, I noticed that my the spare tire was still on the front right side of the car, and the new tire was placed underneath the car, where the spare should have been. As I begin to drive the car, I noticed that my windshield wipers had not been changed and there was a hissing noise. Also I noticed that my car was making a loud noise as soon as I started to go over 40 miles. I was not able to speak with anyone because they were closed and because I live in another city, I was not able to bring the vehicle back immediately. On March 5, 2011 I brought the vehicle back to the dealership with these issues. A mehanic by the name of Duke took my car for a drive and immediately told me what he thought that the noise was because my hub and bearings needed to be replaced. He stated that the hissing noise was probably due to my freon levels being low. I asked why this wasn't check and he stated he didn't know. I asked him if my hub and bearings needing replacing would have been noticed if the mehanic would have driven my car and or rotated the tires and he said yes. I am extremely upset that the simple normal services that I thought I paid for, were NEVER DONE. I am not skeptical about which other services I paid for that were not provided. I paid the dealership over $950.00 for services that I don't think they performed. And to make matters worst, the service representative Michael was extremely rude and acted as though my complaints were annoying him. I asked to speak with a service manager and the gentleman I spoke with could not offer me simple explanations as to why my tires weren't rotated (which would have let them know about my hubs and bearings), why my freon level wasn't check because to my knowledge these are things that should have been checked with a 60k tuneup, and why my windshield wipers weren't replaced. I am not sure if anything was done to my vehicle. I believe I was RIPED off by the dealership. To add insult to injury, the dealership tells me that I must pay 139 for more tests. I refuse to give this dealership another DIME and I will be seeking an attorney. I plan to file a lawsuit because it is obviously that I was taken for 950 dollars AND NOTHING WAS DONE! I asked the service representative to provide me a phone number for customer complaints and he advised me that he couldn't do that. This dealership is the worst and should be closed done. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY. I orginally filed a complaint about this company on 3/5/2011. I rec'd a call from the service mgr John Wood on 3/6/2011 asking me to recap the details of my complaint. I told him how many of the services Ipaid for were not performed and if they had, the noise I am hearing in my car now would have been fixed and I wouldn't be having issues. I also advised him about my air conditioning, and about my tires not being rotated. He advised me to bring the vehicle back in on 3/12/2011 so that the problems could be fixed. On the afternoon of 3/12/2011, I brought the car in and upon inspection of the vehicle by Mr. John Wood, that my spare tire HAD NEVER BEEN CHANGED TO A NEW TIRE LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSED TO. THE TIRE WAS STILL FLAT AND THE SERVICE DEPT NEVER REPLACED IT. I WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE ADVISOR THIS WAS DONE A MONTH BEFORE. Mr. Wood then advised me that my hub and bearing would be fixed, he apologized again for the tire, and told me that my AC would be fixed. When I picked up my vehicle after being called by Mr. Bryan Fitzell no one was there and the cashier simply gave me the keys. As I drove away, I believed my vehicle was fixed because I couldn't hear the loud noise and the hissing noise that the car was making before. I got on the highway and began to drive home and again the loud noise started. I called Mr. Wood, the morning of the 14th because the dealership was closed on the 13th and I simply asked him if anyone had driven the car, he told me the mehanic duke had driven the vehicle. I told him that this was impossible because I refuse to believe the same mechanic that told me my hub and bearings were never checked or fixed, would be the same one to NOT fix it AGAIN! Mr. Wood then said to me that he never recalled me saying anything about my hub and bearings which is A LIE! THE DEALERSHIP THEMSELVES NOTED THIS ON MY PAPERWORK WHICH I GAVE TO MR WOOD. I ALSO ADVISED HIM THAT ALL OF THIS INFORMATION WAS IN MY COMPLAINT AND HE VERBALLY CONFIRMED WITH ME THAT THIS WAS TO BE DONE AND I SIGNED FOR THE SERVICE. I am really fed up with this dealership and would like to have someone from the corporate office contact me. THIS DEALERSHIP IS DISHONEST AND ARE BLATANTLY DISCRIMINATEE AGAINST WOMEN. THE MECHANIC DUKE EVEN COMMENTED TO MY FACE THAT MOST WOMEN CAN NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NOISES IN THE CARS. I ASKED HIM WHAT HE MEANT BY THAT AND HE DIDN'T ANSWER. I BELIEVE IT TO MEAN THAT THEY ARE IN THE HABIT OF NOT REPAIRING WHAT HAS BEEN PAID FOR WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS A WOMAN BECAUSE THEY ASSUME SHE WILL NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. MAROONE REALLY NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. I WILL BE CONTACTING AN ATTORNEY ON THIS MATTER. I AM JUST DIGUSTED WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. SOME SERIOUS RESTRUCTURING NEEDS TO BE DONE AT THIS PLACE STARTING WITH THE SERVICE MANAGER.
