I received this letter on January 18, 2011 but did not open it until today, January 22, 2011.

Reading the letter I was excited about such a simple task and earning money. I am disabled and am unable to work outside my home so I thought this would be perfect for me.

I could not find a phone number or email address so that I could obtain further information. I looked up the company name on BBB and they do not have a listing. I googled the name and landed here.

I am sorry that so many people got ripped off but I thank you for reporting this company so that others like myself do not fall into this trap.

If you read the letter correctly you would have spotted the scam. On the first page they tell you "If we receive 49 letters stuffed and mailed by you, we'll pay you $490.00." That made me think we mail them right back to Maxwell Gates. But reading the last page they write "To clarify what you'll receive, if you start in Group 3, we'll send you a large priority package containing 99 envelopes, 99 special letters, 99 customer mailing labels and our easy to follow instructions." Now all of a sudden its changed. Now you are actually mailing them to customers. So if that is so then how is Maxwell Gates going to receive the 99 letters. Its a simple answer. They aren't. In fact you probably aren't getting them either. What a stupid scam!
