From the name of this company, Medieval Collectibles, I assumed they would know the business and the time period. I ordered a dress and paid for expedited shipping. ON THE DAY I was to receive the dress they phoned me and said they were out of stock. Rather than apologizing they said it was MY FAULT. I should have telephoned them rather than rely on their website! Great response. So I told them the type of Renaissance Dress I needed and the time frame. The girl described what sounded like a nice Renaissance Dress and then charged me for extra fast shipping as my deadline was then in danger of being missed due to their own ineptitude. The dress came. Short sleeves and a color nothing like she described to me! SHORT SLEEVES ON A RENAISSANCE DRESS!!!! Outrageous. Then they made me eat the shipping both ways and a huge restock fee...all in all I was out about $75 for the reason they cannot run their website in a timely manner and DO NOT know the time period fashions either. They are a bad joke...an expensive bad joke.

I ordered wooden pratice swords for my sons birthday, in 2 month advance! And now now four months after my sons birthday, it was out of stock, and it was my fault for not looking up to see if they had it stocked!! I've asked for refund on this order that I've cancelled, told them to be glad i don't charge interest fees on my money they held! So mad at the lack of customer service in a business! I know this is not a scam per say, but I feel like I got the shaft here...and it is not right.
