Motel studio 6 Albuquerque North Stolen vehicle appears to be inside job. Emergency Room injury due to poor maintenance. Neglectful staff and corpo |

I sustained a slip and fall injury in their unprotected and worn out bathtub after discovering my car was stolen in their parking lot. There are reports that their security guard has stolen from other vehicles in the past, and he was seen at the scene of the crime even though he was not supposed to be there that evening. Criminal behavior abounds at this location -- prostitution, drug manufacturing, theft. Management doesn't care that illegal numbers of occupants fill rooms. Management leaves every night at 8pm and returns when they want in morning. Security is not available every night. My report of injury was met with complete and total disrespect and denial. I went to emergency room and was treated. Accor and management refuse to supply an incident report. Accor Risk management is always "at lunch" and refuse to call me. In the parking spaces beside the place my stolen vehicle was parked were sleeping homeless people, 2 people engaged in some sort of activity and homeless people wandering around. This is a very dangerous, neglected and coercive environment, filled with criminal activity. The police and firemen made statements that they have noted increasing criminal activity at the hotel. A month ago there was a stabbing. On the same day as my ambulance, another unrelated ambulance and three firetrucks responded to another injured guest. My loss includes: injuries stolen property stolen car ongoing medical treatment needs pain and suffering business interference. I have tried every step to have Studio 6 respond in good faith. They have made statements that they will pay for medical expenses, car, and property loss, as well as provide temporary lodging. At this time, they tell me to wait until Monday for any help of any kind -- a full 6 days after the incident. |
