Mvelopes Took out 189.60 instead of 7.90; HELLO! RIPOFF! South Jordan, Utah

Mvelopes.com is supposed to help you budget your money, etc; concept is cool. The problem comes in when you sign up for the free "trial"; after the trial they are supposed to charge you $7.90 per month and then they end up taking out the whole 1yr. However, they did not take out 1yr, but 2yrs worth; which equals $189.60! (http://www.mvelopes.com) You cannot call them and cancel either because they do not provide a telephone #! WHAT? That's right! There is NO PHONE NUMBER to call! You have to get online and go through some type of chat thing. Stay away from this company! Any company that doesn't care enough about their customers to provide a phone number doesn't really care about their customers. They are after one thing and that is YO MONEY! 2yrs at one time? Give me a break!

I tried mvelopes for about 10 minutes and inorder to even see what it is like they make you enter a credit card. I loved Quickenonline, and Mint sucks so I was willing to give my card number. Good thing for me I put in my paypal card. After looking at their goofy, first grader interface I cancelled my membership and then called them. The representative I spoke with gave me a confirmation number ensuring the membership was cancelled and that nothing would be charged to my card. A month later I received an email stating that they tried to charge my card and it failed. Again, good thing I used paypal. This company's business practice's are as bad as their software. STAY AWAY!
