North Texas Tollway Authority Ripoff I've Never Seen Before... Plano, Texas

I'm new to Texas. Live in Denton. I was told I had to get a North Texas Tollway Authority tag because I'd use it so much. So I ponied up the $40. I learned pretty early on that your Fort Worth/Dallas traffic is every bit as bad as LA, where I came from. So I have not used the tag and perhaps never will. But every month $1.50 is deducted from my balance as a "statement fee." I've had all sorts of credit cards, tags, everything you can think of, but I've never been billed to receive my bill. It is very likely that I will use the entire $40 payment to pay the "statement fee." Texas should be ashamed.

We received our toll tags and have misplaced them. We have looked every where and cannot find them. Can you tell us what to do? I really think they will turn up some time I know they have not been stolen.
