On Jan. 30th 2011 I got an update notice from T-Mobile on the much anticipated Froyo 2.2.1 operating system. I had heard this was faster & better for the phone like jumping from Win.XP to Win.7. After installing everything ran very slow and the dialer did not function twice! I wanted the 1.6 version that came with the phone so I backed up everything and did the factory reset. After doing that TWICE Froyo 2.2.1 kept launching I could not get it back to 1.6. Apparently there is no UNINSTALL feature on this OS so I am stuck with it. I contacted T-Mobile and they said if your phone is out of warranty too bad we can’t help you! T-Mobile sent me this garbage!! I have lost 2 key functions I cannot store numbers in my contacts list and when I plug the USB into my computer it no longer works the computer does not see the phone as a external drive like it used to before this crap came into my phone also the battery runs out much faster about 8 hours standby. I know there are thousands of people out there with these HTC my touch phones who took the upgrade and are now very angry and disappointed with this garbage (google it). Who is going to fix this GOOGLE, Android, T-Mobile or HTC. T-Mobile is not giving anybody new phones for THEIR mistake unless you have bought a warranty! T Mobile offered to sell me a new phone with a new 2 year contract! T Mobile caused this problem they should fix it! T-Mobile could care less about its customers the only thing they care about is the new customers and once they walk out the door screw them that’s the T-Mobile way of doing business.
