On May 21, 2010, Timeshare Express contacted me with an unsolicited, "hard sell" approach to convince me to sell my timeshare - for which they already had a buyer in place. Their fee was 3 to 6 times what I had paid in the past, but they cited this was due to the fact they actually got the job done and part of their service was helping me get all my money back from all of those in the past who had not completed my transaction. And they actually made their money on the financing part of the transaction - not a penny was made from this up-front charge. They assured me things would get done in 60-90 days. It didn't. Placed the blame on the management company for not getting them the estoppel letter. I intervened 110 to 130 day later - requested that Timeshare Express send me the request to forward to the management company myself. A couple of days/calls/endless hours on hold, I finally did get a fax from Timeshare Express. But all it was was a transmission sheet to my management company. Did the phone thing again, hours on hold, etc. When I finally reached a person, I was told they could not fax me the documents they send because it has private information of the buyers on it. Fine. I drew up my own letter and sent to the management company to get the estoppel letter which was all I was told was holding my closing up. Speak to Timeshare Express on December 22, am told I should have my check in hand no later than January 17, 2011. Have larengytis the first 3 weeks of January, no check and by the time I can call, I can get no one to answer the phone, no response to faxes, and cannot leave a message. And just for extra added insult to injury, I have gone back and looked at my credit card statement, and when they charged my credit card $1850 on 5/21/10, the description by their charge states they are in Florida, not in Delaware. If I had been told that fact at the outset, it would have killed the deal from the start. But me being led to believe the company was domiciled in Delaware gave them credibility that was undeserved. Hang up on these people, and I feel I am being generous in referring to them as people.
