Oscar Complete Auto Repair Broke parts and then charged me for them Miami, Florida

I had my neighborhood mechanic first help me by replacing a bad starter that I purchased at Advance Auto. He installed it. It worked for a few turns then quit. I had to have it towed into Oscar's Complete Auto Repair. He quoted me a $400 labor charge. After 5 days he called and said that the starter was not the correct one, therefore, I returned it to Advance Auto and got a higher priced one and was assured at Advance that it would work. I delivered the starter to Oscar. After a few more days he called me again to report that the fly wheel had been damaged from the first bad starter and that now needs to be replaced. My cost...$400 additional.
Oscar installs the 2nd and the fly wheel 7 days later. He calls me to tell me my car is ready but there is a crackling noise when he turns on the car which he explains that the 2nd starter is not engaging properly with the new fly wheel. However, I can still drive it. I complain that "you have not solved my problem but giving me back my car with a defective noise, making it less saleable. He then said that I could drive it a long time before I had any problems with it, but I said I wanted the car without any problems at all. He said I would have to buy an original starter from the dealer (cost $400) in order for the car to work properly without any noise. It's now 2 weeks without any car, so I agree. He installs the 3rd starter and after 15 days I pick up my car. When I get in the car sounds like a rocket ship engine and Oscar tells me that there is a hole in my manifold (not there before to my knowledge). I take it to a muffler shop who charges me $65 to patch up and solder the hole but tells me I have problems and need to get that manifold fixed. I return it to Oscar who I accuse of causing the hole. He denies it and said he will call a friend come over to his shop to fix it for $150. The car remains there for 4 more days until that was fixed. I will never return to this mechanic for he gives one price, sabotages the car in order to get more money out of you.

Hey, I had a very similar problem with this shop and Im taking them to small claims court...will you contact me at [email protected] if you see this so we can work together to put an end to this injustice please!
