15th of Jan, 2011 by User411790
I went to Potomac for a High End Office Desk. I wanted Wood, Antique Looking and had a $1,500 Budget. They sold me a desk they claimed was wood. In 90 days the wood finish wore off to expose a white plastic looking surface. I called, they told me I was wrong it was wood. I sent photos they told me. Well its painted wood finish on top of plaster. Not really carved stained, wood. Worse they told me i had to pay to repair it, well that being the only option I did select to pay and was astounded when they showed up with colored markers to make the repair. I would have never bought this desk if I knew it was not real wood, these people were not honest.
