This gym does not look bad on first use or a tour - but beware. Once you join you will find they do not care about the customer. Locker rooms are disgusting. Urinals often overflow or do not work. The cleaner uses a strong ammonia solution any time of day that really overpowers the gym. Often., someone at the desk plays heavy metal music over the sound system so loud your Ipod cannot drown it out. The staff do not have name tags and are reluctant to identify who they are. Overbilling is common. I have had to challenge a bill more than once with my credit card company. I had a one year obligation and when I tried to quit the desk staff did not process the "quit slip" using every excuse in the book --- computer down etc. I am now fighting their collection agency after completely paying dues, but getting an unjustified cancellation charge. The aggravation of belonging to this gym is not worth it. While I was working out I was listening to customers arguing with their personal trainers about excess charges. Avoid Powerhouse at all costs!

The comment above is amusing to me. You must work at a competitors of theirs lol. The Powerhouse in Novi is unreal and actually nicer than the Lifetime and LA Fitness in the area. Friendly and helpful staff and beautiful health club.
