Prestone Antifreeze/Coolant Rebate Ripp Off! Douglas, Arizona

After filling out the tiny rebate form which is literately the size of the palm of my hand, I discovered (using my readers because the print was so tiny) that Prestone requires the imprinted foil seal from the bottle. Of course I tore the seal off to use the product. The receipt and UPC number is not enough. Prestone is misleading and unethical.

The foil on the top of the jugs had no writing on them at all. No preston logo nothing. So I am just sending in some round foil.

I also sent in the rounded foil that is not an "imprinted foil seal" as the rebate says. It is literally just a rounded foil top. I sent in that with my sales receipt as instructed on the rebate form. I received a post card later that indicated that they could not fulfill the rebate because my sales receipt was not included. I did not keep a copy. This is a complete scam. I will no longer buy Prestone products and would advise everyone else not to either.

I can only imagine how many others have experienced this same thing. Class Action law suit anyone? The real problem with our economy and country is due to all the white collar crime going on and people profiting off of the hard working class people.

I have an even better one for you!!! I received a rebate check for $5.00 from Prestone &you when i deposited it into my account, it bounced & then i was charged for a bounced check, & then ended up with a negative account because of it being hit with 3 insufficient funds fees...in which i had the $best in to cover my purchases...my account is now -$114.34...all for a $5.00 check from prestone that bounced!!! Don't know what to do now...& the number they give goes to a generic voicemail & doesn't even ring!! Then advanced auto gave me a number off the back of a Prestone bottle & that 800# went to the phone company "Vonage" are you kidding me! ? This doesn't make any kind of sense!!! Someone please help...don't know my options...
